As a stylist, Liz helps her clients discover the hues that bring out their natural radiance. As a photographer, I help women like Liz be seen with brand visuals that tell the full story.
This brand photoshoot with Liz Silverthorne, a certified House of Colour stylist based in Ladera Ranch, was all about bold confidence, intentional style, and showing up with vibrant clarity.
And this shoot was a full technicolor dream. 🌈
The Vision: Personality Meets Professionalism
From the very beginning, Liz was clear she wanted images that reflected her expertise and warmth, but also her fun, modern, and approachable energy.
We leaned into:
- Color harmony (of course!)
- Movement and variety — from color fan swatches to live styling demos
- Powerful expressions — showing Liz’s natural charisma and stylist’s eye
Whether she’s holding fabric drapes, explaining seasonal palettes, or simply smiling in a gorgeous green blouse, every image was designed to feel alive, confident, and so her.
A Color-Forward Brand Experience
We styled the shoot around backdrops in red, green, and soft white, aligning with Liz’s brand palette while letting her wardrobe do the heavy lifting.
Her outfits included:
- A bold red blazer and bright lip (for an Autumn pop)
- A golden yellow dress (for high energy + visibility)
- A rainbow skirt and navy top (because fun is part of her brand!)
- Jewel tones like emerald and teal (which speak to her essence and expertise)
We also photographed her with House of Colour tools: the seasonal wheel, color fans, and fabric drapes — giving her scroll-stopping content to educate, inspire, and sell her styling services.
The Result: A Brand That Shines
Liz’s shoot is now the visual foundation of her updated online presence — from her website and Instagram feed to Reels, guides, and client onboarding.
Together we created:
- Headshots with style
- Brand imagery with movement
- Photos that show her process + transformation
And most importantly?
Photos that make her clients say:
“I NEED a color analysis!”
